Cervical Orthoses are orthopaedic devices used in the treatment of injuries to the cervical spine (neck). They may be worn acutely, or for longer term rehabilitation and offer varying degrees of head and neck control.
Indications for fitting include:
To support muscle strains (i.e. whiplash)
As conservative treatment for degenerative disorders
For acute management of neck injuries/trauma
